Recently, I heard a client ask, isn’t it too late for me to really change my life?

There used to be a saying – it’s never too late to have a happy childhood. Though I agree there are many things that can heal the child inside, I have greater confidence that it is never too late to begin the work of becoming an adult who is more peaceful, safer, stronger, healthier, happier.

This is, right now, a time of tremendous change: a week ago ended the celebration of Rosh Hashanah, and tonight begins the celebration of Yom Kippur. The closeness of these two – the beginning of the new year and the day of atonement – suggest the miracle of a new beginning where all is covered!

Let nothing hold you back. I hope that you will not let the gnawing of remorse and regret turn you from a path that leads to hope for you. We all need help on the path – find the guide who can help you!
